John Maas is highly experienced as both an Entrepreneur and Philanthropist with a 20-year background in real estate development and custom luxury home construction. His philanthropic mission has been to help veteran service organizations achieve strong early growth and become highly effective at providing their core services to the U.S. military veteran population. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Merging Vets and Players as well as the Kirstie Ennis Foundation.
As Founder and CEO of Mountain Primal Meat Co., he has taken an undeveloped piece of land in the Rocky Mountains and in four short years built it into a successful beef and pork enterprise. He has put together a team of highly skilled and driven individuals to conduct the business of running the ranch and retail operations with many key roles being filled by military veterans. His ranch now hosts the largest herd of Highland Cattle in North America and ships meat directly to consumers across the entire continental United States. John is also the Managing Principal of WJWJ Ranch Holdings, LLC, Inplace, Ltd., and is a Managing Member of Highland Riding Club, LLC, Bookbinders Basalt, LLC and Partner of Equitus Capital, LLC.
