MVP's mission is to match up combat veterans and former professional athletes together -- after the uniform comes off -- to give them a new team to tackle the transition together. MVP shows them they are NOT alone.
MVP Los Angeles will be having a pop up session with Mamba Sports Academy sponsored by American Red Cross.
If your schedule or any other commitments prevent you from attending our regular Wednesday sessions, this will be your chance to come and see what we are all about.
Through weekly physical fitness and peer-to-peer support sessions, MVP provides the foundation for vets and players to be empowered and live their best lives. Our session will feature Nate Boyer, MVP Co-Founder, Former NFL Player & Green Beret. Workouts are moderate with a mix of conditioning and MMA/Boxing and can be modified for any injuries.
Do you know a combat veteran (served in a combat zone) or former professional athlete in the Ventura, Thousand Oaks Area? Let's spread the word and get them to an MVP session. Visit www.vetsandplayers.org/join for clarity on program eligibility.
We will work out for about an hour followed by Then Huddle for an additional hour. So bring your workout and get a good sweat on.
WHAT TO BRING:
Veterans: Bring DD214 to show proof of combat zone deployments (we don’t keep them, will give form right back)
*A combat veteran or former professional athlete
