MVP's mission is to match up combat veterans and former professional athletes together -- after the uniform comes off -- to give them a new team to tackle the transition together. MVP shows them they are NOT alone.
If you normally work on Wednesdays, have school or any other commitments that prevent you from attending our usual MVP sessions, this will be your chance to come and see what we are all about.
**We are switching up our usual sessions for this particular event, after the workout, instead of sitting down for The Huddle, we're having lunch and jumping into the batting cages!
Through weekly physical fitness and peer-to-peer support sessions, MVP provides the foundation for vets and players to be empowered and live their best lives. Workouts are moderate with a mix of conditioning and MMA/Boxing. They can be modified for any injuries.
Do you know a combat veteran (served in a combat zone) or former professional athlete in the Los Angeles area? Let's spread the word and get them to an MVP session.
WHAT TO BRING:
Veterans: Bring DD214 to show proof of combat zone deployments (we don’t keep them, will give form right back)
*A combat veteran or former professional athlete
