Head of Athlete/Sports Talent Partnership
Brittany Cranston is a veteran in the sports industry and currently serves as the Head of Athlete/Sports Talent Partnership for Twitter. She is the point of contact for all sports talent relations at Twitter, ensuring strong athlete and talent engagement and product adoption. She works with the most influential personalities in sports to create compelling and memorable activations on Twitter, with the goal of enhancing the content on the platform.
Prior to Twitter, she spent five years overseeing PR and communications for CytoSport, one of the largest sports nutrition companies in the country and the parent company to the Muscle Milk brand. Her work encompassed brand launches, product launches, athlete relations, sports marketing, corporate communications, social media management, influencer marketing and lifestyle activations to help grow the Muscle Milk brand.
Before relocating to Los Angeles, Cranston spent six seasons with the New Orleans Hornets in corporate communications roles, developing communications plans for theteam’s off-the-court campaigns and activations. In 2007, she was part of the committee formed to coordinate all aspects of the franchise’s permanent relocation back to New Orleans. She shared her passion for sports with local high school students and developed an introductory sports business course to teach the fundamentals of sports business.
The Oklahoma City, Okla. native is a 2004 magna cum laude graduate from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s of science in business administration with a double major in marketing and public relations. She’s an avid sports fan, a marathon runner and a proud aunt to two beautiful nieces. She serves on the advisory board of the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission and serves as Secretary and oversees the marketing committee on the board of directors for Merging Vets and Players.
